Celebrate National Jigsaw Day on 3rd November!

On Thursday 3rd November we will be celebrating the second annual National Jigsaw Day. It’s the perfect time to celebrate all things jigsaw, when puzzle enthusiasts are encouraged to take some time out of their day to ditch the gadgets, unwind and immerse themselves in a jigsaw.

National Jigsaw Day Branding

On National Jigsaw Day, Wentworth Puzzles will be launching its nationwide search for two new Minister for Jigsaw roles — a Senior (adult) Minister, and a Junior Minister. They will be given the honour of road-testing new jigsaws and help to design new puzzles for the company. Last year’s Junior Minister Amelia, aged 9, helped test new and exclusive jigsaws for Wentworth Puzzles, and was able to keep the jigsaws for her and her friends to enjoy.

For the Junior minister role, all you have to do is design a jigsaw that you would like to have created by Wentworth Puzzles. The applicant who submits the best design will be chosen to be Junior Minister of Jigsaws 2016/17 and the chosen Minister will have their design crafted into a bespoke wooden jigsaw. Designs can be submitted by email to or sent by post to our Head Office.

Senior minister applicants must send an email (of no more than 100 words) to explaining why they are right for the role, including any accompanying links, videos, images or other materials. Applications will be open until 30th November 2016, and the Minister for Jigsaws and the Junior Minister for Jigsaws (under 14) will be announced in December 2016.

And anyone just looking to get involved with the jigsaw-themed celebrations can join us at our Twitter party at 1pm UK time on the 3rd November to help celebrate the rewarding pastime and even win some great jigsaw prizes! This year we will be discussing the theme of mindfulness and jigsaws and how they can be used to help you focus your mind and relax.
